The vast sea spread out across the rocky outcrops, eternally blue and expanding across such a large distance for any earthly observer.
The highway behind them, two men who up to this point had not known each other were conversing as they bent over the rail.
"My life is so full of routine. It seems every day is just like the last. I have to ignore the giant world and its possibility, yet it always surrounds me."
"Be careful. Many people don't enjoy their lives, not because they go to the same places with the same people every day, but because they don't realize that this is enjoyable within itself. Delicate is the balance and fine the line between order and disorder."
"Thank you. Yes. I will try to find it."
The men got back into their cars and drove, but a casual observer might notice that although the sea waved, it did not miss the two men, nor even realize they were gone.
