In a small basement breakfast bar, the supreme ruler of the universe enjoyed a cup of coffee.

It was to be a busy day. White noise surrounded Him as He sat alone.

A young girl called His name and delivered His beverage.

The place was nowhere special- some university library. Of course no one knew who He was.

He was shocked to see how people always put him on a pedastal. He kind of wanted peace and quiet sometimes. It was nice to ignore reality every once in a while.

He supposed he was sort of a celebrity, like an actor in disguise who sees himself on billboards but goes unrecognized.

God didn't want that coffee to dry up. He tried to make it last as long as possible. But finally as He sipped and sipped there was none left.

So with no lack of effort he lifted himself out of his chair, tossed the cup into the trash can, and walked out into the frigid air.

He had no particular motivation for following his routine but it was so expected for Him to do so, so taken for granted, that he didn't see himself stopping anytime soon.
