Prison Ministry

A man of rough appearance, hard wrinkles drawn thinly across a coarse face, talked to the students about God.
"Prison ministry" he called it. He detailed the way an initially bored inmate would start to hang onto every word when he told them about mercy.
The fact htat the forgiver was God almost didn't matter to the prisoners, especially the ones who did the worst things. Often they'd demonize themselves, wondering eternally if they could be trusted. It is as horrible life to live.
The minister wished the public could see the way these bodies hung forward in their chairs: how loving an ex-murderer could be to that one who should him true mercy.
It seemed the solution was there and the rest were details.
