The Faroe Islands
I walked out the red-white hotel, and the sky seemed bigger than usual.
It was early morning: the hour of the pearl. The untamed sea lay before me, lapping thirstily against the rocks.
The grassy outcrops seemed endless to my left.
I decided to go for a jog on the coast. The brisk wind made me feel alive.
Birds began to sing. The grass was soft under my feet. Streaks of clouds dotted the deep blue horizon.
