Two businessmen walked down a city street, open suits flapping as they raced pasterby.

Both were extremely busy. They had worked very hard and then went home to nice apartments with white tiles and sleek silver lighting because of it.

Today as they walked they were approached by a man of a scraggly beard and ragged clothes.

Often they would not entertain people like this that were obstacles to their difficult work but this man asked them if they wanted the key to happiness.

Jokingly one said yes. The man would give it to them if they could complete a simple challenge.

"For one minute, I just want you to not think of anything."

And over and over again they failed.

And the man had already told them the key to being happy.

All this I thought as I walked home after staring intently at the artificially lit baseball field, watching the game silently, not a thought in my head but joy in my being.

It was with a start that I realized everyone has something they could stare at and not think about anything but just be happy.
